Gourmet Guide to Wine Trail - Wine & Cheese Weekend
By: CQVibe

When our chefs and winemakers began perusing their cookbooks in anticipation of Wine & Cheese Weekend, they made a surprising discovery – our handcrafted wines have become more diverse than ever, and there is no better way to enjoy them than with friends and family gathered around a table brimming with good food.

Travel the trail from one end to the other, or plan your journey around your favorite foods and wines. There's no reason you can't head straight for dessert. But one thing is certain, you'll want to take your time and savor the flavors. Our winemakers are one of kind, our cities and towns are ready to welcome you with open arms, and there are hundreds of ways to experience all that Lake Erie Wine Country has to offer. Enjoy a farm-fresh meal in a restored 125-year-old barn. Step down into a Civil War Era stone wine cavern. Roam the vineyards. Shop for antiques or old books. Drive south to the escarpment overlooking Lake Erie and enjoy the breathtaking view. The entire vista awaits your discovery.
