Miley Cyrus has her first leading role in the new movie “The Last Song” and she carried it like a seasoned professional. The Last Song was filmed on Tybee Island, an exclusive little community just outside of Savannah, Georgia. The movie features veteran actors Greg Kinnear as Steve Miller and Kelly Preston as Kim.
The plot is that Ronnie, played by Miley Cyrus, is sent to Tybee Island to be with her father. Ronnie is very angry at her father for leaving her mother and Cyrus portrays the perfect angry teen here. Ronnie finds love in Will, played by the hunky Liam Hemsworth and spend some touching moments. Liam and Miley have great chemistry and we can see why the two are dating in real life as you can actually feel the passion between the two.
Without giving anything away on the movie, the only disappointing part of “The Last Song” was the fact that I wanted to see more. When this movie ends you will be disappointed because it is over. The Last Song will be a movie you will want to see again and again and again.
