"Celoron's Wild Rib Cook Off & Music Festival" at the Lucille Ball Memorial Park in Celoron, NY (near Jamestown, NY) is entering its 5th Year in the region with many new activities being planned. This community event is produced by Performance & Event Management of Erie in conjunction with the Lakewood Celoron Moose Club, the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association and the Village of Celoron.
Four National Touring Rib Cooking Teams and one very brave local team will be preparing the very best in BBQ cuisine offering pulled pork, full and half-rack ribs, tasters, rib dinners and more featuring their specialty sauces and secret recipe rubs. All foods will be served all day each day of the event.
Enjoy the other festival delights including fresh squeezed lemonade, fudge, corn dogs, hot-dogs, pizza, fries, bloomin' onions, roasted nuts, ice cream, funnel cakes and so much more. Something wonderful is here to please every pallet. Entertainment is scheduled for the band shell. Walk about in the tree-shaded park along the shores of Chautauqua Lake and visit the many arts & crafts, games, classic car show,historical displays, vendors, informational and merchandise booths.
This family festival offers free admission to the public. Several contests and raffles are being planned. Kids can have a blast in the "Rib Kids Fun Zone". Ride-a-ribba-ramma all-day passes are available as well as individual ride tickets. BIG Kid's can test their courage on the Mechanical Bull. All can take a tour around the park on the Little Red trackless train. Food...Music...and Fun for all ages.
