Moonlight paddles are so relaxing. The setting sun and the rising moon on beautiful Chautauqua Lake is a gift that we should participate in. The lake usually calms down about 7:30 p.m. but there may be some chop on the water.
We will be putting in at the Outlet in Jamestown, at Jones & Gifford and 8th street. There is a public boat launch at McCrea Pt. Park. If you need a kayak or canoe the fee is $25p.m.
Please call the store at 763-2266 to make a reservation. If you have your own gear there is no fee, just bring a snack to share after the paddle. Relax and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow paddlers.
Don't forget to bring a light for your kayak. We have them at the store if you need one.
